Oh how we look forward to our local Waldorf School winter fairs! We love them so much that we go to three different Waldorf schools! I think the highlight this year was making felt gnomes. Samual had never sewn anything before and was a bit reluctant to try. With a little persuasion (and the offer of help from a teenage Waldorf student - a boy even!), he gave it a shot. He loved it so much, he made three gnomes! As it turned out, he spent many days this winter making gnomes all by himself.
