My Birthday Present

We picked up my birthday present on Monday. I found it on Craig's List a while back, along with a matching book shelf. We bought the book shelf back in December and were undecided about this piece. The kids have piled all of their crafting supplies on my lovely book shelf, so I decided that the second piece would make a better craft shelf and I could reclaim my book shelf...for books.

My idea is to control the chaos (that literally had to be shoveled aside for this picture). I figure that the chicken wire will stop our furry friends from destroying our craft supplies/projects/yarn/etc - hey, maybe I can keep the fish bowl in there too!
